Irish shoppers will have an opportunity to buy into Field’s quirky fashion style when her new range for Marks & Spencer is launched here on October 18. Apart from the cult series, her TV and film credits also include ‘ Ugly Betty ‘ and ‘The Devil Wears Prada ‘ and excitement is building to see her latest work in the new SATC movie to be released here next week. The native New Yorker, who opened her first boutique in Greenwich Village , has conceptualised her line for M&S as ‘Destination Style New York’ and it will consist of iconic womenswear and matching accessories. However, it is a trend that has worked well for rivals H&M who have collaborated with big names like Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney , while Topshop sought out model Kate Moss .
