Just get a template that you trace over, of a woman, then you draw on her clothes.
I can tell you.
1) Get a pack of A4 printer paper.
2) Take 100 sheets. Fill them with your ideas.
3) Tomorrow you do the same thing.
4) Do this for a week. 500 sheets.
5) Get through them and pick what you like. Max 5 sheets.
6) repeat from #1 with the stuff you like as the base.
7) A week later you are left with 5 good ideas. Develop these and make them into clothes.
A 3 week recipe for high fashion.
This is how fashion design works. In 2 weeks you will have learned to draw I can assure you. You need to be fast with the pen and your mind.

If you want to become a fashion designer you have to have the determination and drive to do it. There is alot of competition out there. I went out with a woman once who didn’t know how to draw that well, and she was in the fashion designing business. The way she overcame that was by having me do the drawings while she came up with the ideas. I don’t suggest you do that. I guess she didn’t tell her boss who was actually doing the drawings. I think she just wanted the money, but didn’t want to take the time to learn how to draw. (Maybe just a little bit too much info, sorry!) By learning to draw you increase your value to your employers and potential customers. Not only that, you will be able to get the design the exact way that you want it. Anyway there is a site where you can download books on drawing:
When there type “Andrew Loomis” in the search box, then scroll to the bottom of the page. It should have figure drawing, creative illustration and other books by him. They are wonderful books that will teach you the principles of drawing and painting. There are alot of other good books there and it is all for free. They also have some books on fashion.
