Men\’s Fashion: What are the five most iconic elements of style that every man should own?

I’m looking for suggestions on what you think are the top five items of style every man should own (e.g. dark blue jeans, white tee shirt, leather bomber jacket, wool top coat, cuff links, etc.) and why. Not necessarily looking for brands (though suggestions are welcome), but a general idea of what every man should own.
